Resurrection Free Lutheran Church (RFLC) at Beltrami, MN, is located in a small, agricultural community in the heart of the Red River Valley near Crookston, MN.  Ministries at RFLC are varied and diverse.  Our membership includes all ages; we are laborers, professionals, farmers, craftsmen, students, and homemakers.  The church facilities are modern and designed for the 21st century.  Reaching and building our region for Jesus Christ is our ultimate goal as a congregation.

 

RFLC was organized in 1988 and chartered in November of 1989. RFLC is a member of Association of Free Lutheran Congregations (AFLC).

The AFLC is a fellowship of independent congregations, who have chosen to be interdependent for the purpose of accomplishing service in the Kingdom of God that cannot best be done alone. The Association of Free Lutheran Congregations (AFLC) was organized in 1962 by 40-50 congregations of the former Lutheran Free Church (LFC), and has grown to become a larger Lutheran church body in the United States with over 270 member congregations.  www.aflc.org.

   Resurrection Free is a regional congregation whose membership covers a radius of 50 miles.  Our members are drawn from the communities of Ada, Beltrami, Borup, Crookston, Fertile, Gary, Grand Forks,  Mentor, Nielsville, Perley, and Shelly.  The church has grown from home basement services to the rental of a community center, and through three building phases to our present structure which can seat up to 500 people for special events.  Twenty-first century technology has been recently added to our facility with the purpose of enhancing our ministry.
